The People’s Budget (FY2023)

/ Graphic Design / Visual Identity / Publication Design / Poster Design /

The People’s Budget is a project to collectively reimagin and advocate for a Philadelphia city budget that is more just, equitable, and sustainable.

A group of interdisciplinary artists were invited to focus on five specific areas of concern within the fiscal year 2023 city budget; how we exchange and steward, how we heal and protect our community, how we learn and grow, how we live and share space, and how we govern and administrate. From their research, as well as conversations with other Philadelpia advocacy and activist groups, a series of broadsides were produced and wheatpasted across the city.
